Terms of Service
The plain-language version: you pay once, you get a license key and a template you keep, and there's a 30-day refund if it's not for you. The rest of this page spells that out properly.

1. Agreement to these terms
By purchasing or using MonetrixOS, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't buy or use the template.
2. What MonetrixOS is
MonetrixOS is a Google Sheets template plus an attached script, sold for personal finance tracking. It runs entirely inside your own Google account — we don't host your data, and we don't provide bank connections. Once purchased, we email you a license key used to activate your copy of the sheet.
3. Payment and pricing
MonetrixOS is sold as a single one-time payment of $9.99 — not a subscription. There are no recurring charges for the template itself. Prices are shown in USD; VAT or local sales tax may be added at checkout where required by law. We may change the listed price at any time for future purchases; it does not affect a license you've already bought.
4. License grant
When you buy MonetrixOS, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the template for your own household or personal finances. You may make copies for your own use (for example, a copy per year) and share edit access with your own family members. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the template, its script, or your license key to anyone else.
5. Refunds
If MonetrixOS isn't right for you, email us within 30 days of purchase and we'll refund it in full, no questions asked. Write to contact@monetrixos.com with your order number.
6. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the financial information you enter into your own sheet, for keeping your license key and Google account secure, and for keeping backups of your own data — it lives in your Drive, so we cannot recover a sheet you've deleted.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to: circumvent or share license activation to grant unpaid copies to others, reverse-engineer the script to build a competing product, or use the template for anything unlawful.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep MonetrixOS working reliably, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability of Google Sheets, Google Apps Script, or any third-party service the template depends on, since these are outside our control. We may update, improve, or change features of the template over time; purchases include lifetime access to these updates.
9. Intellectual property
The MonetrixOS template, its script, branding, and documentation are owned by us. Your license lets you use them as described above; it does not transfer ownership to you.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
MonetrixOS is a budgeting and record-keeping tool, not financial, tax, or investment advice. We provide the template "as is," without warranties of any kind, and we don't guarantee it is free of errors or suited to every use case.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of MonetrixOS, including decisions made based on the numbers in your sheet. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the template.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use MonetrixOS after a change means you accept the updated terms.
